The Plant Pathology Division of Wonderful Laboratories uses state-of-the-art technologies to diagnose wide ranges of plant diseases including viruses, fungi, bacteria, phytoplasma, and viroids from grapevines and other horticultural crops. Our exclusive ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited testing services (A2LA Cert. No. 3992.01) include all the major grapevine viruses from grapevines and generic E. coli (BacT) from water samples. Our Bio-PCR based pathogen detection standard procedure includes the growing of fungi or bacteria from any horticultural crops or soil samples on general or selective media plates, sub-culturing to isolate species or clones in pure form, extraction of nucleic acids (DNA, RNA) using the best commercial kits, and performing specific PCR/RT-PCR and gene sequencing to identify the target pathogen.
Wonderful Laboratories’ Agricultural Chemistry Division has proudly supported local orchard growers for over five years, with more than 30 years of analytical and scientific expertise. We continuously strive to ensure accurate and precise results though participation in inter-laboratory and external proficiency testing (ALP, and NAPT). We are pleased to offer high-quality, accurate, and confidential results using well-known extraction methods and analysis through modern instrumentation for soil, plant tissue, hulls, irrigation water, and fertilizer sample types.
